Echo & Parallel World represent different aspects in life at a certain point in time.

Echo is memories (re)living within us which is divided into two parts:
I - Memories of life/living.
II - Memories of the dead/after death.

Parallel World represents the lives in different worlds and maybe different timelines. Just imagine how Marvel Comics has multiple universes and some of them may cross paths at a certain point in time. It is also divided into two parts where both narrate variety of different ways a world can possibly go.
